PIZZA @ FOODCOURT GRAND LUCKY, SCBD

Siapa yang suka pizza tebel ala ala Amrik ngacung yook! Ms.AH sih bukan penggemar pizza tipis khas Italia, demennya sama pizza tebel berisi banyak topping dan berasa rotinya hehehe. Cheesy yah seleranya, gak sophisticated....tapi kan emang pizza is cheesy, why not? #mulaiganyambung. Back to our topic...si pizza tebal ituh. Jadi di foodcourt Grand Lucky ada jual pizza gede tebel kayak yang kita suka nonton di pelem-pelem Amerika. Gak terlalu ngetop sih, kalo di google juga rada susah cari inponya, jadi miss yang suka berbagi ini mau bantu kasih inpo, siapa tau ada yang demen juga pizza model gini dan belom tau mau cari di mana. Trus...trus...trus....rasanya enak gak? Nih liat dulu ya potonya!

IL VERO GELATERIA, JL.PANJANG

Hi...hi...miss is happy karena akhirnya Jakarta punya gelato enak kayak di Bali dan pastinya murah. Forget Grom....di Il Vero,harga 1 cup kecil Grom bisa dapet 2 cup dengan total 4 flavors...affordable right? Bukan cuma masalah harga, tastewise...it is soooo good! Btw, harga 1 cup/ cone Il Vero adalah IDR. 25k. Tempatnya pas di seberang apartemen Ms.AH en Mr.HATT, yes...yes...yes....hore! Konsep tempatnya kekinian banget, pake ex kontainer gitu dan emang rada kecil, limited seats but, it just a gelato shop yang bisa grab and go, so acceptable. Biarpun tempatnya rada kecil tapi cukup well designed, miss juga bisa dapet foto yang lumayan cakep koq. Check this!

ISLAND HOPPING DI BELITUNG

Owkeh....kita sampe ke highlightnya Belitung trip ini, gak lain gak bukan acara island hopping. One of my friend asked me...gimana kalo pergi ke Belitung skip ber island hopping ini. Miss bilang rugi banget soalnya menurut miss intinya pergi jalan-jalan ke Belitung ya karena pengen liat betapa cakepnya pantai-pantai di sana, kalo cuma mampir ke area Tanjung Tinggi dan sekitarnya ya gak cukup lah. Pasti nyesel deh kalo udah sampe ke Belitung tapi malah gak liat pulau-pulau cantik sekitarannya that make this island famous. Tapi itu selera pribadi aja sih, mungkin ada orang yang lebih tertarik sama history and culture jadi menjelajah area Belitung Timur yang kental sama budaya minum kopinya lebih menarik daripada panas-panasan di pantai, terombang-ambing di perahu. It's your choice...dan buat yang lagi planning mau keBelitung, mari-mari sini Ms.AH bantu kasih info tentang island hoppingnya.

RM.TIMPO DULU

Satu lagi rumah makan ngetop di Belitung, RM.Timpo Dulu. Tercatat sebagai nomor dua terbaik di web tripadvisor bikin miss dan mister merasa kudu coba makan di sini. Banyak yang bilang tempatnya tuh lucuk gimana gitu karena di sini hiasannya rame sama barang-barang jadul. Liat deh di  bawah ini!

RM.DIVA, TANJUNG PANDAN, BELITUNG

Pada salah satu sore kami di Tanjung Pandan, miss dan mister mampir ke RM.Diva.   Bertempat di jalan yang sama dengan mie Atep yang ngetop, si Diva ini cukup mudah dicari bahkan oleh turis dodol model Ms.AH. Tempatnya sederhana, ada open kitchen jadul di depan restorannya, dan dinding ruang makannya dihiasi banyak kalender artis jaman dulu atau kalender promosi toko si A,B,C, dan seterusnya. Serasa makan di restoran tahun 1980an. Menu makanannya diketik di atas selembar kertas yang dilaminating. Makanan yang ditawarkan di sini berkisar pada menu-menu masakan Chinese food populer dan banyak menggunakan bahan dasar seafood.

GROM, PACIFIC PLACE

Before continuing my Belitung trip story, let me share about this newest gelato place in town.... Grom! From Italy to errrrr....Pacific Place :) since it is becoming the IT place for gelato, now is the perfect time to write about this place, can't postpone it any longer. Should write it while its hot!

BAKMIE ACHOI, TANJUNG PANDAN, BELITUNG

Let's continue our food journey in Belitung island...next stop is Bakmie Achoi, still in Tanjung Pandan city. Well, after having a small breakfast at Warung Mak Janah our glutonny instinct lead us to this bakmie eatery. The place looked very similar with any other authentic bakmie stall in Jakarta...rather small place, simple, humble, and the kitchen located in front of the sitting area.

WARUNG MAK JANAH, TANJUNG PANDAN BELITUNG

Hellow!! It's 'harpitnas' aka hari kejepit nasional aka I wish I could have days off and here I am....still in the office but, my mind is on vacation lol...So, let me continue about my last Belitung trip. When I did my research about Belitung, I was curious about this small warung owned and named as Mak Janah....yes it is Warung Mak Janah. She sells Belitung staple simple meals such as mie Belitung, suto or soto Belitung, gado-gado, etc. I have tried the mie Belitung so my main target in Warung Mak Janah is their famous soto Belitung. From what I read, I can be sure that this soto is more suitable for my palatte than mie Belitung.

KOPI KONG DJIE, TANJUNG PANDAN, BELITUNG

People of Belitung Island, especially the men have this daily habit to visit  local coffee shops that scattered around the island. One of the famous coffee shop located in Tanjung Pandan is Kong Djie. The coffee shop have several branches and I happened to visit the one located inside BW Suites Hotel. The visit was somehow unplanned, in one afternoon  mister and I was  driving around the city which I tell you.....such a short drive! Suddenly I feel the urged to pee and there was a tall building standing right in front of our rental car. It is BW Suites Hotel, the hotel that we considered as our accomodation for this trip. We decided to stop by and take a peek....plus I need to used the toilet anyway. Later, we found Kong Djie coffee stall in front of the swimming pool and since we were quite full at the time, we only shared a glass of ice milk coffee.

MUSEUM KATA ANDREA HIRATA, BELITUNG

One thing from Belitung Island that as famous as the beaches might be this...not places but a person named Andrea Hirata. He is the one who brought Belitung Islands to people's acknowledgement, worldwide! How? He wrote the famous fiction book about a group of kids who live in Belitung Island. The book title is The Rainbow Troops and it becomes international best seller. As a novel lover myself, I think Andrea Hirata's books are very interesting. I collect almost every book that he wrote. So, in between enjoying pretty beaches time Ms.AH forced Mr.HATT to drive to Belitung Timur where the famous Andrea Hirata built a museum. I'm not a museum girl, I just driven by the power of Andrea Hirata hahaha.
