SHIRAYUKI, MALL TAMAN ANGGREK

Masih dalam episode kurang mood jadi Ms.AH juga mau cerita review singkat lagi ajah ya. Kali ini tentang tempat makan dessert yang lumayan baru di Mall Taman Anggrek... Shirayuki. Yah tau sendiri deh, betapa lagi ramenya tempat-tempat makan dessert jaman sekarang, mau yang aliran ala Taiwan, Jepang, Korea, Eropa...just name it...sekarang ada semua. Shirayuki sendiri menunya ala-ala Jepang...ada berbagai varian soft served ice cream, parfait, kakigoori alias es serut, dan lain-lain yang sejenis begituan.

Q-TALK ICE MONSTER @ MAL TAMAN ANGGREK

Ahoy teman-teman sesama pecinta yang dingin-dingin manis, ada tempat baru nih namanya Q-Talk Ice Monster di MTA. Adalah es yang diserut alusss banget, sealus pipiku...dan ditambahkan flavoring n toping. Ms.AH udah beberapa kali coba, nah terakhir cobain yang rasa green tea dengan default toping mochi, puding pannacota, dan kacang merah. Ms.AH kurang suka sih yang rasa green tea ini, kacang merahnya juga kaya ada bau-bau anehnya, malah yang paling enak pudingnya. Tapi ada rasa milky fruity yang uenaaaak banget di sini. So, next time Ms.AH bakal stick back to that milky thingy. Sebagai alternatif kalo lagi bosen sama creamy ice cream, Q-Talk ini oke koq buat dicoba :D Semoga banyak yang suka juga deh sama Q-Talk ini biar Ms.AH bisa terus jajan di sini. Mari kita ramaikan Q-Talk  :P Kadang ada beberapa tempat yang Ms.AH suka harus tutup karena sepi, apakah itu artinya selera Ms.AH bukan selera mainstream? Semoga yang satu ini long lasting yah....Ayooo dicoba-dicoba!!!

DA NIANG DUMPLING @ MTA

Da Niang Dumpling ini masih satu grup sama Eaton, pas awal-awalnya  mereka buka (udah lamaa banget sih mereka ada), Ms.AH kurang napsu makan di sini karena menu mereka Cina daratan banget alias banyak menu biba yang dimasak tidak mengikuti mainstream chinese food seperti resto laennya. Tapi...sesuai judulnya, specialty resto ini sebenernya beraneka macam jenis dumpling aka pangsit/suekiaw/kuotieh/xiao long bao yang rasanya sipp. Nah buat urusan per-dumpling-an, Ms.AH bilang mereka sangat menguasai bidangnya #apaan sih# tapi karena menu laennya tetep begitu aja yah Ms.AH jarang-jarang juga sih makan sini.  Tapi karena bawaan si bebi entah kenapa Ms.AH koq jadi pengen makan di sini, ya udalah ya kalo gak diturutin ntar ileran lagi :D

THAI EXPRESS @ MALL TAMAN ANGGREK

My home was (before I get married of coz) just above MTA, countless times that I passed by Thai Express but, hardly took a second glance on this restaurant all these past ten years. Luckily for them (or is it for me?), a few weeks ago I finally noticing this (apparently) nice eating place. Well, originally my mom and I were heading to our regular Eaton but since they looked busy and still haven't managed to clean up most of their empty used tables, we felt a bit annoyed. After having a deep thought and contemplation #WTF# :P, Thai Express came in the brightest light of all.

QUICKIE : KWETIAU GORENG MALAYSIA @ EATON, MTA

Awal bulan selalu dipenuhi banyak kegiatan 'wajib' dan diselingi dengan makan siang cepat di sela-selanya. Pada salah satu hari itu Ms.AH mampir ke Eaton di MTA untuk makan kwetiau goreng Malaysia. Apakah di Malaysia ada menu semacam ini? Ms.AH sampai sekarang tidak tahu pasti. Banyak rasa yang terkandung di kwetiau tersebut, asam-manis, pedas, dan tentu saja gurih. Isiannya juga sangat lengkap, mulai dari udang, cumi, kekian (semacam bakso ikan), bakso ikan sungguhan, telur, sayur, dan tomat. Untuk yang bosan dengan 'tone' kwetiau goreng pada umumnya bolehlah mencoba kwetiau goreng Malaysia ala Eaton yang kaya akan spektrum rasa.

HACHI HACHI BISTRO @ MTA

It's been a while since the last time Ms.AH treated mom and dad with breakfast / lunch / dinner, so being a good devoted daughter, Ms.AH recently brought them to Hachi Hachi Bistro, an old player of Japanese food eating place, owned by local. The first thing that Ms.AH remembered is their spicy seafood yaki udon. Stir fried udon and seafood cooked in spicy sauce. This udon used to be really spicy, it will bring tears in your both eyes. Too bad, yesterday there was only a hint of spiciness but, everything else were good. The udon cooked well, the seafood was put generously, well seasoned, and good portion *important lol*. Just like the good ol' days minus spicy.

SAINT CINNAMON @ MTA

 

Do you remember the time when zuppa soup was a big hit in culinary world?  Forgot exactly when  but, maybe around 7-8 years ago? Well, Ms.AH simply heart the creamy chicken soup covered with big layered puffy pastry, sooo damn good!  So far, this combination never failed Ms.AH any where, any time, any occasion. In one hungry afternoon, Ms.AH was wondering around MTA with mom and remembered that Saint Cinnamon is selling those zuppa soup that we never managed to try before. 

SHARE TEA WITH VOUCHER (MATCHA RED BEAN MILK TEA) @ MTA

Lately, those voucher site haven't got any interesting promo that made Ms.AH's heart skip a bit XP. If anybody out there know about new interesting voucher promo website other than those usual, please let Ms.AH know, will you? From food and beverage voucher purchased, Share Tea is Ms.AH's last stock. With the voucher, we can get 5 different drinks for as little as IDR.50,000,- not bad huh? Visiting MTA have been a ritual for Ms.AH since mom and dad are actually living above the mall, so Ms.AH choose Share Tea MTA outlet as the pick up point. The place is colorful and cheerful, exactly  like how a good bubble tea place should be. The variation of their drinks are not as wide as other joints but they do offered some quirky flavours and varieties such as choco cheese something, blended drinks with ice cream which is almost never found in other bubble tea spots. 

SUSHI GROOVE @ MTA

A couple of days ago, Ms.AH went to MTA to renew passport but failed because of one incompetent person in the travel agency. Well, don't make a big fuss over a small unnecessary matter, let's just eat and be merry, shall we XD ? Since it was only Ms.AH and mom, we were looking for some light bites. It  was occur to Ms.AH that we haven't checking in to Sushi Groove for some times. So we did checking into there.

FISH & CO @ MTA

There are not much choice of seafood restaurants in malls, from those few, Fish & Co stands out. No need further explanation, Ms.AH believed that almost everybody already familiar with this place. Ms.AH just visited parent's place, it was dinner time so the three of us decided to have some seafood feast. The seafood platter for two always been our all time favorite, we ordered this one then. It's consist of pan fried dory fish, grilled prawns, mussels, squids ( we asked the squids to be fried, usually it's grilled), rice paella, and fries...yup it's a huge dish. The seafood platter is drizzled with lemon butter sauce, well everything on the pan is just fantastic. For this dish, a long decription really not necessary, just try it and you won't regret it.

EATON @ MTA

There's must be one or two or maybe several places that we usually go when we ran out of ideas about what to eat :D Because we know that no matter what, those one or two or several particular places will give us our comfort foods. For Ms.AH, one of those places is Eaton at MTA. Ms.AH never tried Eaton at other branches than MTA because rumour saying bad news. But it's still just rumours you know. Eaton is collaborating with two other brands; Ah Mei Cafe (serving Kopi Tiam style foods and beverages) and Sen Ju (serving Japanese foods), so you'll get plenty of choices.

RED MANGO @ MTA

I know...I know...fro-yo is so yesterday thing, unlike the new rising star, bubble tea. But what can I say, Ms.AH kadang suka telat ikutin trend. Lagian Ms.AH dapetnya brosur Red Mango, bukan  Cha Time atau merk bubble tea apa keq, trus gambar-gambar di brosur  Red Mango kliatannya mengundang gitu, jadilah Ms.AH beli, sampe dua hari in a row loh. Masalah dua hari itu juga ada ceritanya.
 

NEW FROM KFC : CHILI KRUNCH FRIED CHICKEN @ MTA

Don't we just love KFC? Those crunchy, tasty fried chicken, who can resist it? Well, yang jelas Ms.AH dan Mr.HATT never get enough of those. Jadi, waktu kita berdua mampir ke TA dan berdasarkan pengalaman, KFC di TA tuh paling enak, ya makanlah kita disana. Biarpun KFC itu jaringan resto franchise yang seharusnya standard, dimana-mana sama, tapi entah kenapa menurut Ms.AH yang di TA punya paling sippp.
